This site was born out of the fact that there are too many websites out there who try to explain health issues, but they often forget who they are talking to. Even such popular sites as Web MD tend to go a little overboard when trying to go into detail about the most common of health issues. I like to compare it to one doctor talking to another. They know (and probably enjoy the fact) that you have no idea what they are talking about. They could be trying to explain something as simple as high blood pressure, and make it sound like they are detailing the procedure for a quadruple bypass.
But if you are indeed looking for information about a quadruple bypass surgery, then you may want to look elsewhere. As this site grows, we will adding information on such health topics as carpel tunnel syndrome, restless legs syndrome, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and many more issues that have become as common as the flu or the cold.
The best part about it though is that we will be explaining it like regular human beings. In terms that people outside of the medical field will easily understand. In ways that you should be able to read it and actually remember what it was. In ways that you can comfortably relay the information to other people and not be worried that you didn’t read something right. Health problems are issues that will never go away, that is the nature of growing older. But that doesn’t mean that you aren’t allowed to know what is going on inside your body.
Understanding these issues will help give you piece of mind, allow you to be much more informed about your options, and not put your life in the hands of doctors just because they can talk the talk. Remember there are such things out there like dumb lawyers, incompetent politicians, poorly skilled electricians, and definitely Bad Doctors. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could spot a bad doctor just because you did a little of your own research…. That is what we are here for!
But remember if you find anything that you don’t understand on this website, be sure to ASK QUESTIONS! If you leave here without a better understanding of the health problems that are afflicting you or somebody you know, then we are not doing our jobs correctly. And yes there is such a thing as a bad webmaster, I just hope that I don’t fall into that category:)
I hope that you enjoy our site and come back often as we will be adding new information on a regular basis.
